REAPS was established with the mandate of fostering environmental stewardship in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. For over 30 years, we have raised community awareness on the importance of the 7 R's and the resources available locally to help guide residents in adopting a more sustainable lifestyle.
REAPS offers free school programs to assist teachers in educating students about environmental and sustainability issues, and the effect of the choices each of us make on reducing waste in our community.
Presentations are about an hour in length and are fun and interactive.
Teachers can book multiple sessions across the school year as part of their curriculum.
You can choose to have us come in-class to present and guide a hands-on activity or to explore and use our self-directed presentations below with a follow-up in-class & hands-on activity by REAPS.
